Internet World once again played host to one of the most comprehensive and enlightening educational programmes the UK has seen, with over 200 individual sessions from some of the industry’s leading figures. We are working hard behind the scenes to bring you the presentation slides and expect to have them uploaded over the coming weeks. Please check the seminar timetables which are where you will find download links.
We will also be bringing you some of the show keynote content via the Internet World Video Player over the coming weeks and months. Further information will be available when the content is ready, but to make sure you don’t miss it, sign up for The Buzz, Internet World’s newsletter.
This year, Tuesday’s highlights included an in depth look at new trends in digital marketing from McKinsey & Company Director, Jacques Bughin, an insight into the future of Social Media from Myspace.com International Managing Director, Travis Katz and an example of how Intel harness social media for B2B and B2C campaigns from their Marketing Director Chris Hogg. On Wednesday Peter Mercier, Head of Mobile at the BBC, gave his perspective on the mobile internet, Andy Hobsbawm, Co-Founder of agency.com talked about the relationship between brands and people in an interactive world and we had a roundtable to discuss one of the buzz issues of the day, Behavioural Targeting, including panellists from News International, Wunderloop, Valueclick and Futuresight. Finally Thursday saw Peter Cowley, Managing Director of Digital Media at Endemol talk about online video and Kym Niblock, Managing Director of BBC.com discussing how to commercialise content propositions.
